There are about 80.000 people living in Marburg, which is situated in the middle of Hesse, Germany. The Philipps university of Marburg is the world’s first and oldest Protestant university – and for sure worth more than one visit! You can go on a university sightseeing tour on Saturday, 14th of November 2009 – at least if you come with enough time to Marburg because your evening program is already planned: starting at 10 pm on that day you will have to be at the Kult Hallen (near the southern train station) where every two months the Rise Of The Machines will happen. A party that combines the best elements of different styles like rhythmic noise, industrial, idm, power electronics, peaktime techno, harsh noise, breakcore and tbm.
At the 14th of November even more machines will rise as we – 13th Monkey – will be the live act of the evening.
And perhaps we will meet again at the old university. Remember there should be always time for sightseeing!

From September 30th until October 2nd, 2009 the Cybermental festival will happen for the 4th time in the capital of Romania! As Cybermental is listed as “the romanian electro/industrial multimedia-madness festival” you can expect lots of crazy and interesting things happen! Besides our local heroes from Lüneburg, 13th Monkey and KiEw, also Soman and Roger Rotor and many well-known and fantastic romanian projects will play at the festival – enough reasons for you to go to the next travel agency and book the flights NOW!

On Saturday, the 24th of October 2009 Sonic Fiction and kiew.org present you for the first time the SUBFREQUENCIES at the Garage in Lüneburg/Germany. You will get a mixture of techno, industrial and drum’n'bass on two floors. Besides a large dj-lineup you will also see (and hear) the projects 13th Monkey and KiEw from Lüneburg and Heimstatt Yipotash from Dresden live on stage. Aerosol Light Textures and several vjs will support the club atmosphere on the visual side. The fee for the tickets will be 9 euros at the doors and 7 euros at the presale (you can order the tickets in the monkeyshop).

Even more Thedi at the WGT 2009 in Leipzig:
Besides Thedi spinning tunes at the Globalnoisemovement event on Monday, June 1st 2009 (GNM WGT Industrialized Finale at Moritzbastei), he will also be part of a second dj date at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2009:

On Friday, May 29th 2009 there will be an electro/industrial-night at the Dark Flower in Leipzig. On the front floor (electro) we have the following djs: Out of Line-record company colleague Erk (Hocico), Vasi Vallis, Torben Schmidt and Dark Flower resident and owner Marko. On the second floor you will get the finest noise and industrial tunes the whole night – behind the mixer: Thedi (13th Monkey, KiEw, GNM) and also Andy (Xotox).

Am Freitag, den 29. Mai 2009 findet im Rahmen des Wave-Gotik-Treffens 2009 in Leipzig im Dark Flower ein Electro/Industrial-Abend statt.
