On July 5, 1994 we organized the first "Subraumwellen" at the club Contra in Lüneburg - on the turntables of this and all following events: Eie and me (named "Té-dY" on the flyer - just for fun). The picture was made on the Commodore Amiga and photographed while being displayed on the monitor. The photos were then duplicated and spread as flyers...

13th Monkey - Oropax

As Soundcloud updated their account structure and now have very attractive premium accounts we decided that we will only use Soundcloud for all audio files on the monkey page in the future. To start with it you will get some album-previews with the new look and feel - the download section will also be changed soon.

Summer is near is here! No more freezing!

In order that you don't have to wear your old (but nevertheless as I have to admit cool and trendy) Spongebob Squarepants shirt all day long we support you running around as trendsetter at the festivals and in the city and produced a stylish shirt with the 13th Monkey logo.

The shirts are in print right now and will be here in about 2 weeks. You can order them right now in the webshop. We ordered 70 shirts (50 men size, 20 girlie size) - so don't wait too long!

The shirts have a frontside print with the 13th Monkey-logo-writing on it (have a look at the picture if you can't imagine it). We have men-shirts for the "boys" in the sizes M,L and XL and girlie-shirts for the "girls" in S and M.

Fashion Rules!

As the Kanonenhaus in Altenburg burned down last Saturday the Elektroanschlag will now be held in 2 locations. This will lead to small changes - Thedi (GNM, 13th Monkey) will now dj on Saturday, the 04.04.09 (together with Sputnik and Paradroid) as there will be no after show party on Friday.

Here are more details taken of the EA-newsletter:

EA10 will be held in 2 locations - this was the best and only viable option!

FRIDAY - "MUSIC HALL", Johannisgraben 4, 04600 Altenburg, near the Brüderkirche/Markt.
SATURDAY - "TENNE" der ALTENBURGER BREWERY, Brauereistrasse 20, 04600 Altenburg, near the Train Station/Hotel Astor.

We will post a route planner on our homepage, as well as several EA-Signs on both days throughout Altenburg.

Furthermore, there will be a small change in the line-up. S.K.E.T. will play Saturday after THIS MORN' OMINA. Therefore, there will be 8 Acts Friday and 10 Acts Saturday. This is due to the fact that we are only permitted to play loudly until 3 A.M. at the Music Hall. We ask for your understanding.

Also, regarding the sale of merchandise, there will be restrictions on Friday, simply because the Music Hall is not very big.
